I almost went down to San Diego April 15th to see them because I didn’t see any SF dates. I don’t think this date showed up on their schedule until around April 24. I never would have seen it if a friend hadn’t called me and told me.
How was the Troubadour?
the Troubadour show was great
with the exception of the chatty crowd
i even think i saw kevin hunter singing with the masses on the floor
set list was pretty close to the Hotel Utah
little bit of change up
there was a taper in the balcony
hoping the show turns up someplace
i also hope they play a small venue
when they come back in Aug.

mamaforpeace, they are going to be in San Francisco this summer for the Outside Lands festival. Hopefully they will play a gig besides the festival while they are here. (’cause I’m not going to Outside Lands again!)
Thanks for the MP3 of the Utah Saloon inferno! I get to re-live that night every time I hear it. (we were down in front!) First saw them on Austin City Limits and ever since am a huge fan, the whole fam-damily!! This band is “IT” and I can hardly wait for them to come back to Northern Cal. Looking for then again in a small venue in Northern California, the sooner the better!

well, maybe- I am picky and will have to skip the HUGE venues. My “Day on the Green” days are over! by the way, I found the SF gig on http://www.Eventful.com; put in a watch for Ryan Bingham, Nor-Cal tour dates and the notification came as soon as the Utah put it on their web site! very coool, might have missed them otherwise! We all will be keepin’ an ear on the rail, waiting for their return!
I think we’ll still get to see them in a few small venues. It’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock n’ roll…
