You Were Always There

I have nothing to say, just posting a song on a quiet Saturday morning.

Hi T&Jam: I decided to follow you over here. Nice song, but awfully sad. I’m just reading “Love is a Mix Tape,” a non-fiction book by a music writer who lost his young wife suddenly to an aneurism while he was making her toast and coffee. It starts out with some background on him, and then the story of their relationship, and now I’m at the place where she has just died and how he reacts. This song so describes it.

Karen, I read Love is a Mx Tape. I couldn’t quit thinking about it for a long time after I finished it.

And I’ve always loved Lyle Lovett.

just sayin: I finished the book. A few things I really liked at the end:

–the opportunity he got to talk it out with someone who had gone through a similar thing. Men need that too, and don’t get the chance as often as women do.

–that he put Renee’s hats out for free in the park. I think she would have loved that.

–that he still runs into people who mention Renee, and that it makes him happy when they do.
